Chashah Mass University (CMU) has initiated its first department, the Department of Communication, on the Chashah Monastery platform. This department, established by CMU, plays a vital role in connecting with our Tigrayan kinsmen to serve as a means to extend an invitation to partner with Chashah Monastery, which is a unifying community that's changing the lives of Tegaru.

CMU's educational framework begins at the elementary level, and extends all the way to the Ph.D. level. The primary objective of CMU is to facilitate growth and development of our people, with the aim of creating an economy that thrives on the contributions of CMU graduates. Through expertise and knowledge, our CMU graduates will subsequently provide support to Tigrayans in the diaspora, as we become a global community that mutually uplifts one another. These collective endeavors are made possible through the greater power of ያሁኣ.

Our goal is to educate unaccompanied students from Tigray by creating a culturally centered, experiential learning environment that empowers students to overcome trauma and impact of war. Certificate of Departmental Commencement
The Department of Communication (DOC) is authorized with an established executive endorsement from the Chashah Monastery Parliament through the issuance of a Commencement Affidavit. This endorsement granted DOC the accreditation necessary to operate as a Federal 501c(3) religious nonprofit organization. As a result, the DOC was able to obtain a Certificate of Departmental Commencement, allowing it to function under the regulations outlined in the New Mexico Nonprofit Act Ch.53, Art. 8, NMSA 1978. This accreditation provides the DOC with the legal framework and status required to carry out its mission as a religious nonprofit organization.
We facilitate effective communication within the organization. This involves creating and distributing internal newsletters, memos, and announcements to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and events. They may also organize and manage internal communication platforms, such as intranet systems or collaboration tools, to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams.
